LOVE.CARE.COMMUNICATE.

TO LOVE GOD

I commit to the upward journey of personal relationship with and corporate worship of God:

- by loving God and obeying His commandments (Matthew 22:37; 1 John 5:2-3)

- by being diligent to make my calling and election sure (2 Peter 1:10)

- by delighting in the law of the Lord, and meditating on it day and night (Psalm 1:1-2)

- by proclaiming the Lord’s death until He comes through the celebration of communion

   (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

- by stirring up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together

   (Hebrews 10:24)

TO CARE FOR ALL PEOPLE

I commit to the inward journey of authentic community and loving accountability with one another:

- by loving my neighbor as myself (Matthew 22:39)

- by walking in a manner worthy of the calling, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one

another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:1-3)

- by using the varieties of gifts, service, and activities of the Spirit for the common good

  (1 Corinthians 12:4-7)

- by restoring repentant believers in a spirit of gentleness, bearing one another’s burdens, and so fulfilling the law

  of Christ (Galatians 6:1-2)

- by praying, interceding, and giving thanks for all people, especially for those in positions of leadership

  (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

TO COMMUNICATE HIS WORD

I commit to the outward journey of sharing the gospel of the reconciliation of all people and the restoration of all things:

- by making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:16-20)

- by being a witness to the power of God’s Spirit locally, regionally, and globally (Acts 1:6-8)

- by being an ambassador for Christ, allowing God to make His appeal through me

  (2 Corinthians 5:20)

- by making it my ambition to preach the gospel to unreached people (Romans 15:20)

- by feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, welcoming the stranger, clothing the naked, and

visiting the sick and imprisoned (Matthew 25:31-39)
